Finally Decided on the Bridesmaid Dresses!
So, the bridesmaid dress is chosen and I have to say the fitting was so much fun for me and my sister’s friend. It was also a relief for my sister that we both liked the dress that was chosen and even the color. I am not going to say anything on the style and color cause it is still a surprise for a lot, but, I will just give you a feel of the situation we were in when we were in the fitting room. We obviously tried on more than one dress, but it all went down to the final one and it is awesome!

The White Wedding Ball Gown
Immensely exaggerated yet perfect gown to get married in don’t you think ?!

The Pink Wedding Dress
Just to be clear, my ideal wedding dress is not pink, however, the following shoots are absolutely girly, flowery, romantic, vintage style and depict something dreamy for each girl which have imagined herself in these scene practically from the age when she learned what the word dress means!
I think it’s nice to have a dreamy image such as these examples.

Blair Waldorf’s Wedding Dress… and her Bridesmaids !
It always takes a scene for Blair Waldorf to enter her fairy tale dream and marry her prince charming (literally), in the fifth season of Gossip Girl. Well, we can’t forget though that her heart does belong to someone else, and although that is already figured out to whom, we still have to see what she is running away from and to whom!
But, since she has already gave us a wedding dress and the whole preparations to watch, we will take a glance a t her wonderful wedding dress and everything else that was planning to make her wedding day perfect.

Downton Abbey - A Taste of Edwardian Fashion
Just to give a small idea of the plot, Downton Abbey is a British TV series which was going on for the last one and a half years, with few episodes but quite a striking story which takes place in the Edwardian times, early 1900’s, when the titanic tragedy took place just to give a clearer idea.
It is a story that portrays the lives of the rich against that of the servants in a household. Although both worlds are different, the writer Julian Fellowes, depicts on how the wealthy family of the household and the servants, somehow, construct a relationship together of friendship, loyalty, love and betrayal. There are a lot of intriguing conflicts, war, romance and beautiful visual.
But the wardrobe is what I will be criticizing mostly in this post, not that there is anything negative to say really! I think when a period drama is being filmed, attention to detail is extremely important to be as authentic as possible. In Downton Abbey, that, in my opinion is done marvelously in the house (which is actually a British ‘castle’ so to speak), the props and mostly what I look for, in fashion.
The costumes are well thought and researched. Both male and female attire are constructed according to character and the colors, material, sequences, hats, bows and any other things make the era come to life.
